Grandma Tina's Zoo

Okay, it's not really "Grandma Tina's" Zoo. It is the Tautphaus Park Zoo, but try explaining that to a 5 and 4 year old.

Waiting for the cousins to arrive.

Cousins really are the best friend a girl could have.

The ball python was out this morning. Pooh Bear was brave and gave her a couple of pats...

Drama, also brave, touching the python...

The Boss bravely taking a turn with one crooked finger...

 And .4 seconds later crying....

The petting zoo, where the girls brushed the goats...

It was a perfect zoo day, overcast, not too hot and most of the animals were out showing off for the kids.

And we had to take a picture with all of the cousins riding the tiger. When the Wisconsin cousins come in a couple of weeks the cousins won't all fit on the tiger's back!

4th of July Parade, Idaho Falls Style

We visited Grandma Tina and Grandpa Phil again this year for the 4th of July. This year it was a beautiful warm day and the parade was super fun. When you sit right at the beginning of the parade route you can score a lot of cool freebies. Free shirts, neck ties, water bottles, otter pops, tennis balls, sun glasses, and a gallon zip lock bag overflowing with candy. It was awesome!
Parades are always more fun when your with the cousins.

The One Where Drama, Pooh Bear, The Boss and Cousins Go Sledding

January 2, 2010

We went to visit Grandma Tina and Grandpa Phil for New Years and when there is snow at Grandmas there is always sledding at Grandma's. Grandpa and Mark take them and I stay home with the baby because I won the coin toss and mysteriously forgot to bring my winter coat.

Grandpa Phil is so awesome. I love to go sledding with him!

Maybe not so much. . .

 Too much fun

The Thanksgiving Play

Drama and Pooh Bear wrote a Thanksgiving play, made all the puppets, signs, tickets, everything for a major production. They invited their cousins, E-man and Roo, to be in the play. I see Tony's in all their futures!

The "cariters" (characters). . .

The Players (the Boss is the stage manager). . .

Brava! Brava!

The stunning back drop for the play was my parents brand spankin' new family room with built in book case/fireplace/mantel/amazing flat screen. This is the best picture I have, sorry, but trust me, it's amazing.
